Keep Calm and Carry On!

This was a poster used by the British government in 1939 that was intended to raise the morale of the citizens in the event of an invasion. I think it can also be very good advice for business owners today. The ones that I speak to that are continuing the pursue the company vision, design strategic plans and execute against the plan are doing quite well. The companies that are overly concerned about the economy and its effect on their business tend to not be doing as well.

Not scientific, but seems like the best advice in this uncertain economy is to “Keep Calm and Carry On”.

“Success is understanding that good morals is good economics.” Mike Hanes

I wish more people understood this universal truth.

Relationships

Thought for the Day:

Keep your focus on building relationships and a positive impact on your business will almost always follow. However, if your focus is on building your business, a positive impact on your relationships almost never follows.

Amazing to me how many people forget this in their attempt to be successful.

I shot this short video describing the Zola Summer promotion and our promotion with KDS blades. This is a great offer that I hope many of you take advantage of.

To be successful, you have to be able to relate to people; they have to be satisfied with your personality to be able to do business with you and to build a relationship with mutual trust.” George Ross

Great quote and one that I definitely believe in. People do business with people! If two people want to do business together, they typically wont let the details stand in the way. If two people do not like each other, all the details in the world wont help a deal get done.
